Time for Change

Comments: Cloudware makes: CloudBooks (business accounting and basic administration); CloudBooks PRO (for CPAs and finance professionals to deliver services to their portfolio of clients) and CloudBooks TBM (including 14 modules for almost every aspect of business management from e-mail to inventory and more besides) ¿ but can they really be different enough to change the landscape of opportunity?
CloudBooks, especially in the TBM ('Total Business Management') version seems at first sight to have an audacious ambition in claiming to be almost a complete 'operating system' for small and mid-size business. Closer inspection reveals that this approach has been well thought out and the product line is therefore poised to be disruptive in the business tools marketplace. The keys to its success are simplification and leveraging cloud architecture in innovative ways.
The Remote Desktop Connection method provides security and the thinnest possible client ¿ allowing users true universal access (and therefore the possibility of taking a vacation once in a while!). All the CloudBooks versions support true concurrent, collaborative working and the Multi-Lingual Interface. The MLI is a good example of Cloudware's maximizing the potential of the cloud architecture by going beyond just having different language versions but by truly allowing workers to collaborate and switch languages at will, without interrupting workflow. Another aspect is the Audit Dump ¿ to allow audit compliance without unrestricted access to the system, and again ¿ to avoid interruptions to the company's work. To have all these features included, (still allowing interoperation with existing business apps) will represent exceptional value for money at the expected announce price rates and give companies the power to expand globally or locally with multicultural support.
And one more thing ¿ Cloudware just announced its commitment to end-user experiential analytics using the ADL Experience API. This represents the latest thinking in providing the most control over organizational processes and development. This should truly distinguish CloudBooks from the gathering 'cloud crowd.' (Disclosure, in the tradition of Victor Kiam) ¿ I liked these products so much I joined the company!
For the next three months CloudBooks is still in the Beta test, pre-release phase but if this review interested you then you can contact to get trial access or join the beta test.

Comments: Cloudbooks TBM has been a game changer for our R&D company. We had been using four separate software programs for our accounting, payroll, marketing and management. Cloudbooks TBM has replaced all of these and finally all the departments and functions are interactive. It has made our former dependence on Quickbooks almost embarrassing.
The user interface is very smooth; the instructions are easily accessed on the fly and are very helpful; and the learning curve is short. This beta test has gone extraordinarily well; we are keeping it and expect Cloudbooks TBM to take over the management accounting software market quickly.
